The heating of the kindergarten and schools - the alternative to central heating

The main priorities in the issue of heating of children's school and preschool institutions, along with their ability to provide the necessary temperature regime, are also environmental friendliness, safety and economy.

In most cases, kindergartens and schools in our country are heated using central heating, which often does not cope even with the first of the described tasks. Namely, it does not guarantee the necessary heat to the room, approved by law. Therefore, the question arises of finding a quality alternative that will meet modern needs and standards.

The main reasons for the reconstruction of the heating system in kindergartens and schools:

• wear and tear of the central heating system;

• redevelopment of premises;

• carrying out of works on warming of buildings;

• changes to regulations;

• switching to an individual heating system."

According to legally approved standards, in kindergartens, the temperature in the rooms where children are constantly located should be +19 - +23 C – these figures are prescribed in the sanitary regulations for pre-school educational institutions (https://zakon.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/z0563-16) in schools, the air temperature in classrooms and classrooms should be +17-+20 C – sanitary regulations for schools (https://zakon.rada.gov.ua/rada/show/v0063588-01). It is obvious that the issue of high-quality and safe heating for schools and kindergartens is extremely important for maintaining children's health and providing them with comfortable learning and development conditions.

Making a complete reconstruction of the heating of a school or kindergarten may seem quite expensive. After all, the approval of a new project, laying and replacing pipes is a rather long process that involves major repairs of the institution.

But this option is not always acceptable. To avoid downtime in the work of an educational institution, today there is a real alternative to provide a comfortable temperature without the high cost of repairs, school closures and other inconveniences.

One of the most practical and safe methods of creating an alternative kindergarten heating system is infrared panels:

Of the disadvantages, we note, perhaps, only one nuance – when you first turn on the IR heater to warm up the room, it will take more time than, for example, the convector we are familiar with. But this is the peculiarity of infrared heating – after heating, the room retains heat for a long time, which is not the case with convectors.
